Winner of Puerto Rico’s top television awards, this variety show produced and written by Jackie Torres, became the undisputed number one show of Puerto Rico two years in a row, reaching an unprecedented 34 points of rating (among the highest in Puerto Rican history). Some of the top stars in the music industry such as Ricky Martin and Olga Tañon made their first solo appearance in “Marcano…El Show”. Radio personalities Héctor Marcano and Funky Joe, along a live band, and actors Wilfred Morales & Jackie Torres were thrilled to have top recording artists of international recognition such as Vanilla Ice, Gerardo, José Feliciano, Ricardo Montaner, Juan Luis Guerra y su 4-40, Yuri, Pandora, Daniela Romo, Carlos Vives, José José, Mijares, Ednita Nazario, El General, Menudo, and many others, among their guests.

One of the highest rated sitcoms of Puerto Rico’s history. It success was so huge that several spin-off specials based on it, also became number one. Kids and adults rushed to buy a music record based on the sitcom. Thousands witnessed the live show also based on the sitcom, which toured over 20 cities. The comedy produced by Jackie Torres, was about a cafeteria that had a very peculiar waiter (Chevy…El Ponzoñu), a cranky owner (The son of Tres Patines Pucho Fernández), a beautiful daughter (who falls in love with the waiter) and an array of very funny customers.
